Hotcode Designs » Playing with Adobe Lightroom
I took a photo looking out my office window today, the clouds looked mean and the photo is a little dark, but I thought it would be perfect to have a play around with in Adobe Lightroom.
I downloaded their 30 day trial to see what the program was like, and while I was waiting, found a whole bunch of presets for it as well. Instead of working for the last 3 hours, I installed Lightroom and all the presets, then proceeded to see what each one (of over 700) looked like on my photo.
Here's a small selection of the ones I saved - there were 40 of them that I liked, which I narrowed down to 16, and finally got it down to 7 that I want to share with you all.

And this is my favourite of the lot:

Love the photos, you have been playing :) very cool. neat programme ah

Not only gorgeous but peaceful too - and to think, we're far enough out of earthquake city, yet close enough.

I love lightroom and wonderful post! P.S. You found 700 presets? I only have 200 I think I need to go look some more! (I have some called "Matts Presets" and "Wow Presets" but that's about it.
Again, GREAT post and photograph!

I got Lightroom about a month ago when Adobe was running a special on it (if purchased at the same time as Photoshop CS5 or any bundle containing PS). Haven't done much with it yet, though. Thanks for sharing.
